I hope to report in the future I made it with no problem. In my last review I said I was hoping to get up to 245,000 miles. These cars are essentially all Toyota inside, and you can tell. Especially if she was maintained well by a single owner. If you are considering buying this as a used car I wouldn't hesitate. This includes mountainous roads, freeways, and winding coastal highways. It has very well designed comfortable interior. I still see Vibes on the street, and I totally understand it. It is an AWD model yet it gets between 29-34 MPG depending on the time of year (Ethanol).It has 265,000 miles on the original engine, transmission (entire. It's worrisome with an older car but I am happy to report we passed this year with no issues. In California we must pass a smog test every 2 years. With auto prices still through the stratosphere I am hoping she'll get me through a couple more years. My 2006 Vibe is the little engine that can. But I am because I am still driving her, 235,350 miles later. So it's hard to believe I am updating my Pontiac Vibe review once again.
